What is Reflexology?

 What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a science that deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all the organs, glands and parts of the body. By stimulating these reflexes properly, many health problems can be helped in a natural way. Reflexology improves nerve and blood supply, helping the body to achieve homeostasis, or balance, normalizing and healing itself of many ailments.

God has placed in the human body an amazing immune system which is constantly going to battle for us against the stresses of modern life and a host of environmental pollutants enveloping us.

One of our greatest enemies to good health is stress. Doctors have concluded that a large percentage of our ailments is due to tension and stress. This stress, along with pollutants surrounding us and unhealthy lifestyles, causes our bodies to get out of balance. Reflexology is a fantastic means of relieving stress and tension, thus aiding the body to come into balance. As homeostasis is achieved, the immune system is better able to come to our defense and do its intended work.

Reflexology is not intended to replace conventional medicine, nor is it used to diagnose or heal any specific disease. Along with a healthy diet and good fitness program, reflexology at Good for the Sole contributes to overall good health.
